Espresso Martini: How to Make the Perfect Cocktail

You don’t need an espresso martini, you need to go home. Or, you could just make one at home. This recipe is not only easy, but packs a punch and tastes like dessert. It’s perfect for a night cap, after dinner drink, or just a cocktail after work. I made a huge batch of these espresso martinis at a New Years Eve pre-party I threw at my house once and it ended up being quite the night. 10 out of 10, I highly recommend this cocktail for nearly any occasion.

Serves 1 but easily doubled, tripled, or batched!

Tools:

You will need a cocktail shaker and espresso. I have a Presso manual espresso maker which is really cool, but, you could also use coffee in a pinch. I won’t tell. After all, coffee and espresso are the same thing, just made a different way.

Ingredients:

3 counts vodka

2 counts Kahlua or coffee liquor

2 counts Bailey’s or Irish Cream Liquor

3 counts espresso

1/2 cup ice

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktails shaker and pour into a chilled martini glass. Know that you have made great life choice by making this espresso martini.
