The BEST Frose Recipe

The BEST Frose Recipe

Frose, or frozen rose, was the official drink of the pandemic for me. It was at this time, that I learned how to make it and then proceeded to make it often. By the time summer 2020 rolled around, we had the whole set up with the mini pool in the backyard and the blender churning out frose on (at least) a weekly basis. Our backyard became an oasis and frose our savior.

While frose is not on the menu as frequently as it once was, it’s still an excellent drink recipe to have in your pocket, especially for parties, cookouts, barbecues, and all things that scream summer gatherings. And this recipe is simple to make! All you need is a blender and this comes together with a few ingredients that you already have at home. It also packs a punch, so make this for your next summer gathering and be the life of the party!

Makes about 6 glasses

Ingredients:

1 bottle dry rose (or 3 cups if you are using the boxed version)

1/2 cup of vodka

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1 tablespoon sugar

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1/2 – 1 cup of ice

A few fresh strawberries for the pretty

Instructions:

  1. I feel like all of my drink recipes that involve a blender go a little something like this: add all ingredients to the blender and blend away. Garnish the glass with a fresh strawberry and get the party started!

If you like this you should probably try my frozen watermelon margarita!
