Tools:

I am grilling my chicken on an indoor grill, but feel free to grill these outside, use a grill pan, or even bake them in the oven. So many options!

Ingredients:

For the chicken:

1 lb of chicken tenders

1/2 cup of yogurt

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 tablespoon of olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 hot chili pepper, minced (optional, you could also use red pepper flakes or omit all together)

1 teaspoon of each oregano, dill, cumin, and salt

1/2 teaspoon of pepper

For the wrap:

4 large pita bread loaves

6 iceberg lettuce leaves, whole

1 tomato, sliced

1/2 green bell pepper, sliced

1/2 red onion, sliced

1/4 cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced

1/2 cup crumbled feta

1/2 cup of tzatziki

About 1/2 bag of frozen french fries of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Start by marinating the chicken in yogurt, lemon, garlic, chili pepper, oil, cumin, oregano, dill, salt, and pepper.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat your grill and oven/air fryer to make the french fries. Start prepping your wrap toppings.
  3. Make the french fries according to the instructions on the package.
  4. Grill the chicken tenders for about 5 minutes each side.
  5. It’s time to wrap it up in the pita! Lay the lettuce down first to make a barrier against the bread and any wet ingredients. Top the lettuce with tomato, red onion, bell pepper, olives, and feta. Top with the chicken strips and a small handful of french fries. Drizzle tzatziki over top and wrap it up like a burrito. Serve with any extra french fries on the side and thank me later!
