Lazy Low Calorie Margarita:How to Make a Simple and Delicious Cocktail

Lazy Low Calorie Margarita:How to Make a Simple and Delicious Cocktail
Margarita Ingredients

I find most margaritas to be way too sweet which is a shame because the ingredients should be super simple. Tequila and lime are such a natural combo and there is really not a whole lot else you need. Listen, it’s been a long week and you are far too overdue for a cocktail. So why even discuss it further! Here is a simple recipe for a delicious, refreshing, and low calorie margarita.

Serves 2

Tools:

Cocktail Shaker but you could really mix this in the glass if you want to keep things super simple.

Ingredients:

3 Counts of Tequila

2 Counts or Triple Sec or Cointreau

3 Counts of freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 – 2 limes)

2 Counts of soda water

2 lime segments for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add tequila, triple sec, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
  2. The soda water is going to cut the acidity of the lime and also give you a nice frothy texture, but beware; it will also blow the top off your shaker! The trick is to remove the top of the shaker, pour in the soda water and stir.
  3. Divide between two margarita, martini, or coupe glasses and garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy with fajitas or guacamole.
