Lazy Paloma: Easy and Delicious Cocktail Recipe

Lazy Paloma: Easy and Delicious Cocktail Recipe

I heard a rumor that tequila was the only alcohol that actually helped you lose weight and not pack on pounds. I cannot vouch for the scientific validity in that rumor, but it’s true in my eyes. And since the Paloma includes diuretics with the grapefruit, it could help you shed some water weight in like a really unhealthy way. At least for the moment. Just imagine this elixir as the holy grail of drinks for those looking to reduce their calorie intake. Say goodbye to the rum and diet coke and say hello to the lazy paloma! Bottoms up!

Lazy Paloma

Makes 2

Tools:

This doesn’t even require a shaker. You can simply make it in 2 cocktail glasses

Ingredients:

Juice of 1/2 grapefruit

Juice of 1/2 lime

6 counts of tequila

2 counts of Cointreau

Soda water to top and lime wedge to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Get 2 cocktail glasses and get some ice in there. Add 3 counts of tequila and 1 count of Cointreau to each glass. Add 3 counts of grapefruit juice and 1 count of lime juice and give it a quick swirl. It’s really that easy. Top with soda water, garnish with a lime wedge, and call yourself one hell of a bartender! Try this with my spicy shrimp tacos!
