Suggested Wine Pairing:
A light bodied red like a sangiovese would work perfectly with this meatball, especially if you plan on serving it with tomato sauce.
Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken Meatballs Ingredients:
1 lb of ground chicken
8 ounces of mozzarella balls, drained – like these
1/2 teaspoon of salt
dash of freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of dried italian seasoning
1/4 cup of panko bread crumbs
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 400F. Meanwhile combine ground chicken with salt, pepper, italian seasoning, and breadcrumbs.
- Take about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture and one mozzarella ball and wrap the chicken mixture around the mozzarella. Continue this with the rest of the chicken and mozzarella.
- Cook for 10 minutes in your preheated air fryer or oven. Then turn and cook for another ten minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the mozzarella stuffed chicken meatballs with your favorite sauce and pasta or with a side of marinara sauce for dipping as a delicious appetizer.
