Serves 4 – 6
Ingredients:
1 bottle of a dry red wine, like rioja or tempranillo
1/2 each orange and a green apple, diced
1/2 cup of brandy
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
Instructions:
- In a pitcher combine apples, oranges, and sugar. Gently muddle.
- Add brandy, orange juice, and wine and stir.
- Chill for about 30 minutes and serve in wine glasses over ice.
This is a great way to use up the brandy from my chicken (marsala) brandy recipe! And if red wine is not your thing, try this white sangria instead.
